Bar Code Label Printing Project

The Challenge: Mortgage credit analysts were having a hard time tracking loan files during high volume processing which increased the funding time for borrowers. 

The Solution: Observation and multiple staff interviews were conducted to uncover pain points in loan processing. I designed a short yet simple training solution for staff to effectively track and distribute loan files. This training solution reduced processing time by 55%.

Project Highlights: I designed a custom bar code theme, simple graphics and images, quick links, explicit directions, and clear learning objectives. Multiple bar code labeling stations were set up where credit analysts received hands-on practice and immediate feedback. Pilot sessions, credit analyst completion reports, and feedback sessions were also conducted.
